The flying site is located just off Bone mill lane at the southern area playing fields.

We are the only RC modelling club licensed to use the site. Each member has a copy of the licence to carry with them when they use the site.

The time restrictions are as follows:

Operational hours

Tuesday – Saturday 12:00 – 20:00

Sunday from close of final football game – 20:00 (during football session)

Sundays 12:00 – 20:00 (outside the football season)

Conditions of use

All pilots must be members of the NERCHC and have BMFA insurance

Due to the licence agreement with Sunderland City Council only club members are permitted to fly at the site.
